Imam Sadiq (pbuh):

Fasting in Shaban is a reserve for the servant on the Day of Resurrection. One who fasts frequently in Shaban God improves his livelihood and protects him from evil of his enemy, and the least reward for the one who fasts for even one day in Shaban is that paradise becomes obligatory for him.
